Cynthia Davis

Owner and Director Kings & Queens Child Care Center + Executive Director, DC Family Child Care Association

Cynthia Davis is the founder and Owner/Director of Kings & Queens Child Care Center, “the place where every child is royalty.” Cynthia worked as a contractor for the Department of Justice for 23 years and now as a Family Child Care Teacher for over 15 years.

Cynthia believes that high-quality care begins with providing resources, predictable routines and opportunities for adventure and exploration for children, and support to families so they can thrive no matter their economic status.

Cynthia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. Cynthia is currently the Executive Director of the DC Family Child Care Association. Cynthia’s mission is to advocate and ensure that Family Child Care Teacher voices are heard and recognized for their dedication and contributions to the field of early childhood education.
