Decent Work Program Evaluation in the U.S.
An external evaluation of the evolution and results of Oxfam’s Decent Work Program during its first five years (2009-2014).
The purpose of this evaluation was to review the progress of Oxfam America’s Decent Work Program over the implementation period of 2009-2014 and test the program’s assumptions in terms of its strategic objectives and theory of change. Using a mixed methods approach, the evaluation documented the program’s progress in achieving indicators for its multi-stakeholder, policy and supply chain work with low-wage agricultural workers in the US. The findings captured the various perspectives of the program’s major stakeholders and made recommendations that will be used for strategic decision-making during the program’s planning process for the next phase of the program.
