Fair Taxes, Stronger Futures
Making corporations and the ultrarich pay their fair share for a more equal society
For too long, US tax policy has favored large corporations and very rich individuals. This has contributed to skyrocketing wealth concentration, runaway corporate power, and increasing economic inequality, including along lines of race and gender. But tax policy is not static. Just as the tax code can sustain inequality, it can also reduce it.
Oxfam supports an inequality-reducing tax code, one that makes the ultrarich, Wall Street, and corporations pay their fair share and that advances racial, gender, and climate justice.
