Oxfam response to President Trump's statement on "Standing with Saudi Arabia"

By

In response to President Trump’s recent statement on “Standing with Saudi Arabia,” Oxfam America’s Humanitarian Policy Lead, Scott Paul, said:

“President Trump reminded us today that, to him, ‘America First’ means that no one else matters. Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in decades. Millions of Yemenis are now collateral damage in the Trump administration's misinformed and self-serving policy, which amounts to ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend.’ It’s now up to Congress to reassure the people of Yemen and the international community that the United States still stands for something more than a dollar sign.”
